Drawchance is one free, browser-local calculator for target-item counts in a uniform draw without replacement from a known finite population.

Why keep the full fraction?

A percentage is convenient, but it can hide whether an event is impossible, very rare or certain. Drawchance keeps exact combination counts and reduced fractions, displays every feasible outcome, and makes inclusive query boundaries visible.

The tool does not choose items or judge whether a real shuffle is fair. It does not estimate an unknown population, recommend a sample-acceptance rule, calculate betting returns or predict a particular draw. The original worked guide explains the assumptions and independently counted examples.

Free access and current services

The calculator and local text/CSV reports are free. No login, upload or payment is needed. Analytics and advertising are not active in this initial release; there is no active analytics beacon, AdSense loader or consent-management loader in this source. Publisher and ownership metadata are setup identifiers, not evidence of ad approval or serving. Hosting services can retain ordinary request logs.

Corrections and ownership

This site is maintained as part of a small independently operated free-tool portfolio. The public contact is an existing verified shared forwarding alias from Yardfill, not a dedicated Drawchance mailbox. Send a reproducible calculation example through the contact page. A supplied formula reference does not imply endorsement or certification.

Use the exact fraction and stated model when interpreting an answer. Counts are limited to 500 for this implementation; the bound is not a statistical recommendation.
